“Love Letters” are letters, post cards, and memories of my past and current romantic relationships. This project started in 2000 and ended in 2012. This piece has been exhibited several times over the course of 12 years. The letters are grouped and displayed chronological. These letters are pined to the wall at the exact head height of the person they represent. A step stool is provided so that views can look into the face of the letter and read them. The above collection features letters from seven relationships and was exhibited in 2009. The finished project features eight relationships, and is completed. To learn more about this project or to order a bound limited addition artist book of these writings, please contact me.
“Lost at Sea," exhibited with love letters can also be shown separately as an independent work. Created from watercolor on paper, blue paper, tape, glue and necessitating a wall space for exhibition, "Lost at Sea” is a simplistic piece which illustrates our journey through the world in search of ourselves. – May you sail the sea until you find your home.
